Creation of sustainable SEO Success: Interview with Rhea Drysdale

Multimedia , about how to run a successful long term SEO campaign. At Outspoken Media, Rhea focuses a lot on SEO as a long term commitment, not a tactic to generate short-term profits. In the video below, Rhea discusses her approach to long-term SEO and why, with this kind of approach is so important.

Here are some key take-away from the movie:

  • If you take into account that the average length of time people aged between 25 and 35 will remain in their current job is about 3 years you can understand why most of us are focused on short-term profits, not long-term strategy. How can we begin to invest in tactics that have a long term impact?
  • At this point, Rhea says investing really means contributing to the long-term success of SEO, not owning it. Can help build the assembly of great perspectives to be together for a long period of time. It is also important to give them the tools to educate themselves, because SEO is changing every day. Listen to your team, develop them, and focus on keeping them in the long term.
  • carefully consider the technology you use, because the chances of technology can be put in place today and analytics you need to survive in the current position. So choose the right technology for your organization that will be able to support long-term strategy.
  • Rhea believes in building a very solid team dealers who specialize in many areas, otherwise it does not feel like they can survive. Of course, that makes it difficult to train them, and there's potential for their loss, but Rhea says she'd rather be a producer than a consumer talent talents.
  • Reputation management is largely important for the long-term success of SEO, we are even seeing that play more and more in the actual Google algorithm. Reputation management is not about burying the search results when something negative happens, it has to do with everything about the brand. If something positive happens with the participation of the brand, it is a reputation management that may have a significant impact on the performance of SEO.
  • As for the positive reputation management, look at what else about your business. What are you doing in the community? What is your company culture like? Enabling people to get to know your brand and the people behind it can be great for reputation management and create a lasting impact.
